Before you begin knitting: The T-shirt is worked top-down in stockinette stitch with a wide, straight neckline and short rows over the shoulders. First, the front and back pieces are worked, after which the yoke is joined. A small amount of width is added and the body is then worked. The shoulders are sewn together by hand, and finally a small T-shirt sleeve is worked.
