Recommended needles: Circular needles 4,5 mm, 40 cm 

Gauge: 21 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4,5 mm needles  

Sizes: 0–4 months (4–8 months) 8–12 months

Yarn suggestions: 1–3 strands of scrap yarn held together, depending on thickness

Yarnage: 30–50 g

Before you begin knitting: Baby booties are constructed with a flat double toe, from which the foot is shaped. The heel is sewn together by hand. Stitches are picked up for the leg rib, which is knitted as a tube at the end.
