Before you begin knitting: The cardigan is worked top down in stockinette stitch with a broad neckline and deep cut on the front. The shoulders are constructed using short rows. The front and back are knitted separately, later to be joined for the yoke and body. The ties can be placed as desired and the cardigan is even reversible.
